Born in 1961 in the village of Selec, Ukraine, Zuzuk's artistic voice was forged through rigorous study at the Kyiv Academy of Fine Arts, where he mastered traditional techniques before distilling them into his signature "naive" style.Now based in Toronto, Zuzuk populates his canvases with a cast of musicians, dreamers, and symbolic animals that seem to float between reality and folklore.
